expert

On Thursday, I got to play tech expert at work.  A guy came into the library with a mixed up understanding of spam, email, viruses, and word processing. It took a while to figure out his real question.  But eventually, I was able to give him a few hints about lowering the spam in his email accounts and  we found a book called something like ‘Degunking your email…’.  What made the whole thing so entertaining, was after  he  left, another patron ran over to the desk to ask me about how to keep the spam out  of his email.  Part of me wanted to should “hey, I’m not the expert”, but as it is said, the expert is the person that know one more thing then everyone else knows.
