grooves1 The best thing about a this cold is that I am able to read. I seem to be catching up — my pile is shrinking for the first time in ages. ( I know, it won’t last long) Last night I finished a kid’s book: Grooves: a Kind of Mystery by Kevin Brockmeier. Dwayne is an average kid living and average life in an average town, or is it?  At an assembly Dwayne  notices that Howard Thigman – the wealthiest man in town- sparkles.  Then in a pair of jeans he finds a secret message recorded in the grooves of his jeans.Dwyane and his friends have some crazy adventures trying to solve this mystery.
This is a fun book and I think I need to go find his novels for adults
