for the morning feast

my cat thinks I’m stupid.
Today was Percy goes to the vet day. This means trauma for all. He hates it, I feel bad for him. I also feel bad for the vets that get to try and deal with him. I did try to explain to him that if he behaved there would be no blackout period. No luck.
When we got in the exam room,Percy actually walked out of his cat box himself. Over to the window. He scratched at the window and gave the look that said, “open this . This is the way out. We can escape before they come back.” When the vet tech came in – I got the “stoopid human” look.
Arriving home,Percy was still under the influence of the drugs. He ran around the house telling me everything was different. And if I got near him, he ran away. Happily, he is sleeping now. When he wakes up he’ll remember my purpose is to feed him and pet him on demand.
