Drinks on the patio
Now of course, being in CA, you can have wine. And because I am from CT, a gin and tonic is just lovely. But a friend introduced us to a new brand of mixer – Fever Tree. First, they have a light tonic — which uses real sugar , but less . Yay! Then there is the ginger beer . Mighty strong ginger beer. It makes a wonderful drink called a Dark ‘n Stormy.
2 ounces of Dark Rum
1/2 bottle of Fever Tree Ginger beer
1 ounce of lime juice
mix with ice
oh yum.

I didn’t get everything planted, but you have to love the view from my front door.
